με αιτία την πρόσφατη σειρά email για το geek keyboard (http://www.daskeyboard.com/),
και της αναστάτωσης που αυτή προκάλεσε, αποφάσισα να φτιάξω το δικό μου, χρησιμοποιώντας ένα παλαιό IBM PS2 keyboard (SN: 1393285, made in the UK, Ημερομηνία κατασκευής 26 ΙΑΝ 1989) το οποίο αθλοθετώ εδώ και τώρα και το παραχωρώ σε αυτόν που θα πλέξει το καλύτερο εγκώμιο μου.
(για όσους από εσάς δεν ξέρουν τι είναι το εγκώμιο και πως πλέκεται, παραπέμπω εδώ και εδώ

Living
Ok, here it goes. Currently, I have to live with the following:
alopecia areata universalis
(My body just refuses to grow any hair, not necessarily a bad thing, I don't have to shave every morning)
plaque psoriasis
(Small lesions of red raised skin covered by dead skin cells, on the elbows and a bit on the hands. A bitch, really. Have to keep the areas in constant lubrication and the itching is sometimes really annoying)
physiologic myopia
(Can't see shit without glasses or contact lenses. Well, not really. But it's still impossible for me to do any work without them. Haven't been outside the house without glasses for at least 20 years...)
stenosing tenosynovitis
(the new one... hope it will go away after a few weeks of treatment, otherwise is the operating table for me)
Over the years I had to replace some of my teeth, had an operation on my nasal septum to straighten it a little and a cauterization of some part of the nose that I cannot remember what it was called.
There you have it... A living-breathing example of the fact that man is not a perfect machine...
Anyone know where someone can get good replacement parts? I hear Honda's gonna make the first bionic arms available real soon.

Trigger Finger
I have a new hobby... Three times a week I dip my right hand into molten wax, at a temperature of about 90 degrees celcius...
The reason for this is that recently I had to add stenosing tenosynovitis to the list of my ailments (look for a complete list, along with cool medical names in the days to come). The doctor suggested physiotherapy, and part of it is a bath in hot wax (other parts include ultrasound and massage).
More cool photos about the condition can be found here.

Revenge Of the Sith
The dialog is worse than that of a Spanish soap opera.
The acting... I hope it was so bad only because the actors were trying to hold back their giggles (because of the dialog).
The visual effects, even though they are impressive, are too much.
Future cities look like Las Vegas, and every scene is so overloaded with effects that you loose track of the action.
The story, oh, don't start me on the story, no, I won't go there.
By far the worst star wars movie,
and I think one of the worst movies I have ever seen.

One of these nights...
... by the Eagles... worth listening to. Not their usual country-style song. One of my favorites. An Oldie-but-Goldie. A Must-Listen-To. An All-Time-Classic.

Worst Blunder so far...
By far the worst day of my computing life, I accidentally erased all contents of a live customer's database (just after I had finished backing it up, fortunatelly). Still, I caused them an hour's or so of discomfort to say the least...
